Saturday 9th

3am
Took my time getting up.

Just in time to hop on the Oslo fjord 90min cruise.

Oslo Rathus (town hall)

Opera House from the water.

"Wow, check these two out."- Winston Churchill

So I went by the sculpture park again because I missed getting a pic of this- Vigeland's most reknowned work and an icon
of Oslo- Sinataggen (the Little Hot-Head).

Three-time Olympic gold medalist and movie star.
The Kon-Tiki Museum

I believe these journeys helped spread Polynesian culture around the globe, including
"Tiki" pop culture.

Similar interests had
me visit Easter Island in 2005.

Whale sharks were a part of one of Thor's journeys.
I'm a big fan of whale sharks since I
swam with them in Mexico.

Only $2 to pee...

The Fram Museum, located right across from this one.
I didn't have quite enough time to visit it, but considering my journeys to both poles I think I would have enjoyed it.

Views looking back towards downtown.

Oslo Opera House, my last stop of the day before walking back to my hotel.
According to
Wikipedia it was completed in 2007, ahead of
schedule and 300 million NOK under its budget of 4.4 billion NOK. Wow, unheard of in the U.S.

Cool bamboo like staircase inside.

Sign close to my hotel- whale meat, huh? I think Norway is one of the few countries that still does
whaling.

There was a wait to get the salmon at the hotel, which tasted pretty good for someone that doesn't care for salmon. Other
stuff was just OK.
